2017. No-Mad, an eclectic Indian lifestyle brand, the brainchild of Anuj Kothari inspired by everyday India. Timeless, authentic products that cross time, always in line with the Indian way of life, this brand born as early as 2014 is as different from any other as it is inspirational. In its first few years, No-Mad was the only brand of the kind to fill a void in the Indian market for traditional Indian artisanal products, with top notch quality that was hard to come by. With its products rooted in tradition, No-Mad is earthy in its ethos and wonderfully global in its worldview. Their learning for conscious design comes from their passion for mindful living, something I honestly love!

I was fortunate to create recipes, style & shoot some of their absolutely beautiful products a few years after the brand came about, just about when I had begun accepting a little work on request. For me, the earthy feel of the copper and metal thaali trays, their matt pottery, the uneven hand finished plates where each was different from the other, the copper & wood cutlery, handmade textile napkins, the chai glasses, everything made my heart sing.

I love how the brand has grown, I love that the quality of its products is still the very best. I love anything that celebrates the ethos of this vibrant land so beautifully and with pride, and I really enjoyed working with the brand.
