I bring your products to life, to help them stand out in an increasingly crowded space. I use lifestyle styling skills, sometimes editorial in nature, with deep aesthetics, a play of colour, textures and light. I style on location for shoots, and sometimes I style and shoot in my own space on rare occasions. I’ll style / shoot to a brief, or give me creative freedom and I’ll make a brief, a mood board, share ideas from my vast portfolio and we’ll take it from there. I have my own set of aesthetics and signature style, yet the overall look is always different and that’s what I love about my work!

I shoot in natural light only, something that I absolutely love, a skill I have honed over time. While that might be restrictive at times as I chase the light, creative work should never be rushed. I take my time, restyling and reshooting if required, and I honestly love what I do!

While food and desserts is what I started off with and continue doing, I’ve styled my fair share of products that are not edible yet take my creative touch easily. Pottery, kitchenware, appliances, cookbooks, tea, jewellery, ceramics, copper, skin care, hair care, ayurveda, lifestyle products is some of what I’ve done.

I’ve been writing a food blog since 2007, Passionate About Baking, and in 2018 Penguin asked if I’d thought of converting my blog into a book. I honestly was petrified, it felt like an uphill task, and proved to be one. Finally, in the middle of the pandemic, my dessert cookbook with recipes that I wrote, styled & shot, was published by Penguin in 2021- Passionate About Baking, Chocolate.
